This   question   can   be   answered   very   easily:   mineral   additives   are   generating   certain functions.   They   can   generate   properties   in   plastics   which   cannot   be   reached   by plastics   allone.   In   europe   only   there   are   more   than   1   Mio   tons   of   mineral   additives used in plastics applications.
